On propose ici la traduction de différents articles [certaines partielles] d’un site maoiste ayant fait différentes recensions et synthèses d’articles de presse sur la lutte en cours au Manipur (un état dans le Nord-Est de l’Inde) depuis le début du mois de Mai 2023, avec quelques ajouts d’articles de presse supplémentaires. Le premier article fait une synthèse détaillée du contexte autour de la révolte après plusieurs mois, les suivants sont présentés dans l’ordre chronologique de déroulement des événements.

Les Prisonniers Politiques Mapuche (PPM) de la CAM,
Jorge Caniupil Coña, Luis Fuenzalida Eneros, Pelentaro Llaitul Pezoa, Carlos Mardones Sáez et Luis Menares Chanilao, détenus dans la prison LLancahue de Valdivia, déclarent ce qui suit :

– KIÑE : Que, hier, nous avons été transférés au dit centre, par instruction du Juge de Garantie de Lautaro, Eduardo Pérez, qui a basé sa décision sur des informations déformées, délivrées par la Gendarmería de Chile (GENCHI) [TN : l’administration pénitentiaire], ignorant le rapport délivré par l’INDH (ci-joint).
– EPU : Que, ce qui précède viole nos droits, nous bannissant et nous éloignant de nos familles et communautés, ce qui aggrave notre détention préventive.
– KÜLA : Nous tenons pour politiquement responsables le gouvernement de Gabriel Boric et le sous-secrétaire de la Justice, Jaime Gajardo Falcón, dont dépend GENCHI.
– MELI : Suivant tout ce qui précède, nous avons résolu d’entamer, à partir de demain 27-11-2022, une grève de la faim pour exiger :

PUBLIC STATEMENT PPM CAM VALDIVIA

The Mapuche Political Prisoners (PPM) of the CAM,
Jorge Caniupil Coña, Luis Fuenzalida Eneros, Pelentaro Llaitul Pezoa, Carlos Mardones Sáez and Luis Menares Chanilao, held in the LLancahue prison of Valdivia, declare the following:

– KIÑE: That, yesterday we were transferred to said center, by instruction of the Judge of Guarantee of Lautaro, Eduardo Pérez, who based his decision on distorted information, delivered by Gendarmería de Chile (GENCHI) [TN: the prison administration], ignoring the report delivered by the INDH (attached).
– EPU: That, the above violates our rights, banishing us and distancing us from our families and communities, which aggravates our preventive imprisonment.
– KÜLA: We hold the government of Gabriel Boric and the Undersecretary of Justice, Jaime Gajardo Falcón, on whom GENCHI depends, politically responsible.
