[October 2022, Wallmapu] News from the Mapuche struggle against the Chilean State
Here’s a collection of different actions claimed by radical Mapuche groups in Wallmapu, against the Chilean state in the month of October 2022. Some of these actions were collected from mainstream media. For each, we will try to provide a link/picture to the actual claim/pamphlet and a translation of it.
October 6, between Traiguén and Los Sauces: radical Mapuche destroyed a forest watchtower by cutting the metal pillars & knocking it down, then left a canvas on site.
October 7, Freire: 6 armed individuals burned down 3 trucks 1 forestry crane and 1 van on an estate of Mininco forestry company (unclaimed).
October 10, Santiago: against the militarization of Wallmapu, radical Mapuche protesters marched through the city & threw projectiles at cops (1 injured).
October 12, between Traiguen and Los Sauces: armed individuals shot at a cop car on the road, hitting the car door, from a territory recovered from a forestry company.
October 12, Angol: against hardened hostile attitude of prison guards & for the respect of previous agreeements, 21 Mapuche political prisoners radicalized their hunger strike started on September 23 into a dry strike in the module E of the prison of Angol.
October 13, Perquenco: Liberación Nacional Mapuche (LNM) attacked the estate of a well-known supporter of the dictatorship, liberating animals & taking 2 firearms before setting fire to the facilities, 1 tractor, 1 truck & agricultural supplies. Communique in Spanish on Radio Kurruf.

October 14, Angol: 50 Mapuche community members gathered outside the prison of Angol in solidarity with the Mapuche political prisoners on dry hunger strike inside.
October 18, Lumaco: in memory of Yordan Llempi and for the freedom of all Mapuche political prisoners, Weichan Auka Mapu (WAM) torched a crane logging truck of a subcontractor of forestry company Mininco.
October 18, Los Álamos: armed individuals carried out 5 arson attacks, for a total of: 4 trucks 1 van 1 tri-tyre 1 loader 1 booth burned down, 2 trucks damaged by bullets, 1 three-quarter truck with windshield damage, 1 truck 1 chainsaw stolen (unclaimed)
October 22, La Unión: the ORT Williche Millalikan of the Coordinadora Arauco Malleco (CAM) sabotaged an estate of forestry company Arauco by torching & destroying 5 forestry equipment (both machines & trucks), 6 smaller trucks and 1 van.

October 23, Angol: the 21 Mapuche political prisoners of the module E have been on dry hunger strike for 29 days inside the prison of Angol.
October 28, Padre Las Casas: Weichan Auka Mapu (WAM) set fire to a backhoe & destroyed it.
